DevOps EngineerCloud · Infrastructure as Code · Observability

Three years as an apprentice at PharmaGDD, an online pharmacy. I started on the backend, then the infrastructure took more and more room: production monitoring, moving an extranet from GCP to OVH with Terraform, GitHub Actions deployments. I am now looking for a full-time DevOps / Cloud role.

01Experience

Software Engineer Apprentice · PharmaGDD, Paris

Sept 2023 — Nov 2, 2026

Online pharmacy: e-commerce rebuild (Symfony / Sylius 2) and its OVH infrastructure.

  • Observability

Set up production monitoring: metrics, logs and Slack alerts versioned in Git (VMs, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, 5xx errors, p95 latency).

  • Cloud

Moved an extranet from GCP to OVH, infrastructure described in Terraform (private network, bastion, DNS, backups). Production cutover in 40 minutes.

  • CI/CD

Production deploys through GitHub Actions, traceable to the commit. Automated build and release of the desktop app.

  • Data

Spring Batch ETL for the v1 → v2 migration: 73M rows at ~1.8M rows/min, replayed nightly on the production dump with integrity checks.

    case study →
  • Dev

Symfony / Sylius 2 backend for the rebuild. C# / .NET desktop app in production: drives 4 sensors and sends the measurements to the ERP.

Outside code

I do triathlon all year round and have run a marathon. The rest of the time I model in Blender and hack on small games, mostly to learn and try out ideas.
